**Wish List!** & Mini Ramble On!

Hi Guys,
If you read my blog regularly you would of noticed that I haven't posted since Tuesday I think? So that's about 4 days, which is more then long enough in my opinion! Well basically I took pictures to upload another review a few days back, and I couldn't find my USB cable, which i need to upload my pictures to the laptop. So that's why there hasn't been no posts in a few days, so I'm going to try my hardest to find it and If not I'll have to buy one of Ebay. Fingers Crossed?

Ramble over now lets continue with my May wish list, which I'm hoping to update every month or so.

My May Wish List

Fashionista NEW Merged Bronzers!

After reading Karla Powells post on Fashionista's New Merged Bronzers and Blushers, I fell in love with the lightest shade of bronzer! I've never actually worn bronzer before as I can never find a shade light enough for my pale skin. But Fashionista seem to have hit it in the bulls eye with their new shades of bronzer/blush. £4 each from selected Superdrug stores.

MUA Professional Lip Boom, Shade Doin' Good

If you read my last post, I finally managed to get my hands on a MUA lip boom after stalking Superdrug at least in double digit amounts! I love shade Cheeky, its gorgeous and the lip boom is fantastic quality, I won't revel to much though as I plan on doing a full review soon. There is two shades in the MUA Pro Lip Boom Range, Cheeky and Doin' Good, which i need! Looks like I'll be making another trip to Superdrug to get my hands on this little baby! Also available in Superdrug stores, mainly ones that stock MUA Professional. Only £3.

17 Photo Flawless Primer

So basically I'm almost out of my everyday face primer, the MUA one and its fantastic! So why don't I just buy it again? I fancy a change now since I've already repurchased the MUA one twice and I've heard some amazing things about the 17 one. I've tried 17 products before and was fairly pleased with their Falsifeye mascara. So why not try the 17 one? Available from Boots, £4.99.

Thanks For Reading!xxx
Sure the list is of course endless on products I want, likewise every other Beauty Blogger. But
this is a list of stuff I really want, so be expecting to see some posts popping up
about these products within the next couple a weeks! :)

Tiny Haul & Clinique Mascara Swap Update

I could say this is the smallest Haul ever, but then that would only involve one product?
This isn't really a "Clinique Mascara Swap Update" either because I haven't blogged about that before, but anyways, I did the mascara swap!

Okay so basically yesterday I picked up a few things, and this was what I got.

From Superdrug I got.

I haven't read many reviews about this product, which is what I normally do before I purchase products so I don't waste money. But I was in desperate need of a face powder as my NYC one ran out, AFTER A WEEK. I seriously don't no how that could happen. So I thought for the price I may swell give this a shot.

Collection Lasting Perfection Ultimate wear powder

 In shade : 1 Fair

And I'm Super, Super, Super excited about this next thing! I've been after two of these for AGES, I checked Superdrug on Saturday and was devastated when they didn't have the two shades that i desperately wanted. I managed to get one of them yesterday, on Monday, and i can't wait to try it.

MUA Professional Lip Boom with Alexander Burke in shade Cheeky!

Rubbish lighting and you can't see but that says "Cheeky"

Clinique Mascara Swap!

Okay so if you haven't heard already, Clinique Mascara Swap is Back! I can't actually remember the last time it happened as I've only been into makeup for just over a year and a bit. But from 14th May- 20th May, if you trade in a mascara, any brand, Clinique will swap you for a sample of either one of these two mascaras! What a fab deal?!?

And since me and my friend are just naturally cool people, ( Sarcasm)  she came up with the idea of bringing two mascara's. So we get a sample of each, there are two debenhams near us so it was kinda a win - win. We just used different details when filling out the form but don't tell, shhhhh;)

The two mascaras to choose from are:

  • High Impact Mascara
  • High Lengths Mascara
These are the wands on them both!

Left To right: High Lengths, High Impacts.

Both these wands, and formula's look quite interesting. I can't wait to try these out as I've heard some amazing things about these mascaras and can't wait to see if they "wow" me.

Review: Carmex Strawberry Lip Balm Tube

If I could choose one thing out of my full lip collection, including lipstick, lipgloss, lip cream the full lot.
I would choose this!

I couldn't get the SPF15 bit in so here's another photo;)

There you go!

Taken from Boots website:
" Not only does this fruity balm heal dry, cracked lips, it also acts as a sunscreen with the added protection of SPF 15."

 Ingredients list

This lip balm has a rounded applicator , so its nice and easy to apply with no mess. It comes out in a sort of jelly form, but applies to your lips as more glossy, like a lipgloss.

The lip balm definitely does what it promises! I found my lips much more moisturised after about just a week. Also I found they had less cracks, which has definitely made a difference in the application of lipstick and lipgloss. And as for the SPF 15 bit, well i haven't really had the chance to test that because well...

Come on dudes I live in England since when did we get the sun!;)

I usually apply this after I've been in the bath at night times, or sometimes when i moisturised my face in the mornings. Most of the time though I apply it before i go to bed. I've only got one con about this product though, and whether its normal or not for this particular product, I haven't experienced this in the past before with previous lip balms or lip gloss tubes I've tried.
Basically, after about a week of using it I had already noticed a "dent" in the tube. Like this,

Either I've been applying to much when I first got this product, or its just how frequently I've been using it I don't know. Or maybe its just how this product works?

Either way I would still recommend this product if you want a great lip balm that moisturises and contains SPF. I got this from Superdrug for little over £2, you can also get this item at Boots for roughly the same price.

Review: Coastal Scents 88 Ultra Shimmer Palette

I don't think I've reviewed any palettes yet on my blog, and since this is easily one of my favourites out of my whole collection I wanted it to be the first I review on my blog!

Most of you by now have probably heard of Coastal Scents before at some point? You can only buy their products online I think, but I got this palette of Ebay for a Easter Present and lets just say its A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!

The image is slightly blurry I no :(

When you open the palette theres a fairly sized mirror. Along with 2 sponge applicators either side of the mirror. I tend to use brushes though as there easier to use. These are good if you don't have any though or are just starting out in make up.

On the back the ingredients are listed, along with the Coastal Scents website at the bottom.

Okay now lets take a look at the actual eyeshadows themselves!

I took two photos of the eyeshadows to show you at different angles.

This palette has a great range of colours to choose from! Ranging from browns, to bold greens and blues, to purples and pinks this palette even has reds in it. Even though I will probably never wear a red eyeshadow, But I suppose you never know when it could come in handy!

These eyeshadows are actually extremely good quality! Even though each individual eyeshadow pan itself is only the size of a American dime, or as i read, I couldn't tell you that exactly as i don't have a dime. You still get a more then generous amount of eyeshadow overall as a whole palette.

So how pigmented are they?
See for yourselves!

Blurry...AGAIN :(
Also I won't swatch the whole palette as it would take to long, but if you want any specif swatches comment below on which ones and I will gladly do them for you!

These eyeshadows make the application of eyeshadow really easy and super speedy, they are really pigmented so the colour appears very bold/opaque within a few swipes with a brush. The formula is really easy to blend as well, and these eyeshadows definitely live up to the name of the palette. "Ultra Shimmer" they are definitely packed full of shimmer, not to much shimmer that there overwhelming. However if you don't like shimmer then these aren't for you.  The staying power is amazing, and i haven't actually got anything bad to say about this palette.

Thanks for Reading!:)
I love reading your comments, so if you liked this review i would love it if you could drop a comment below!xxx

NOTW: Cookies, Cupcakes & Chocolate

Hey guys!

This is probably one of my most favourite designs I've ever done, up there with the angry bird nails I did a while back.

The actually reason I did these was for a contest. I got inspired by it's theme, What's Cookin? And decide to do foods that began with the letter "C". So 2 hours later, 2 cotton pads, 3 cotton buds, several polish splattered dotting tools and countless nail polishes later I did that.

I forgot to take a picture of what I used and the list is way to long to type up. So if you want to no the name of a certain polish, or its brand just comment below and of course I will comment back. The brands were a mixture of Barry M, MUA and Sally Hansen.

Oh and the contest this design was made for was Copy That Copy Cat Nails. Here's a link to her blog, check it out its real cool and she's got some A.M.A.Z.I.N.G designs. Don't forget to enter her contest!

April 2012 Favourites!

Once again, I'm a few days late in posting up my April favourites. But late then never i guess? Anyways here's what I've been loving this April!
I didn't include any nail polish this month, I don't no why. I might do a separate post for that?

This month my favourites are:
  • NYC City Curls Curling Mascara
  • Miss Sporty XX Volume Mascara
  • Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Eternal Gold
  • Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in Fair
  • NYC Smooth Skin Pressed Face Powder in Naturally Beige
  • Collection Cream Puff Lip Cream in Fairy Cake & Cotton Candy

My two most favourite mascara's this month! I seriously don't understand why makeup brands charge the price they do for mascara when you can get things like this for a fraction of the price! NYC's City Curls gives my lashes a definite curl and added volume. Whereas Miss Sporty's XX Volume Mascara, gives well... Volume obviously! It adds plenty of volume and length to my lashes. I like the length of my lashes naturally, but they lack volume and curl. These mascara's solve these problems easy!

I was amazed how well this product stayed on my eyes! And was fairly easy to remove as well, I loved the pigmentation and it definitely made my green eyes pop. I usually dust a Matt eyeshadow all over my eye, from the lid to my brows, like a base. Then use the tiniest amount of this and it goes a long way. I love this product and think I'll get Eternal Sliver next time in Superdrug too!

I've finally found my favourite face powder! Ever! I usually avoid wearing foundation as it just doesn't look good once I've finish applying, with foundation, Primer, Concealer, Powder all that good stuff. I came to the conclusion that it was my face powder. I love this powder! It's a massive improvement from my MUA one, which was nice to wear on its own with primer, but too heavy and pigmented for over foundation. I would highly recommend this if you want a good, budget powder to set your foundation, and liquid makeup in general.

I love Matt lips! Sometimes i get a bit lazy when reapplying products like lipstick or lipgloss. These solve all my problems, they last ages. And I mean ages! I can easily get at least 4-5 hours out of these, they don't fade when you drink, but fade slightly once you eat something. For the price their amazing, easily my favourite lip products of the moment. I've got them in Cotton Candy and Fairy Cake, I've already done a review of Fairy Cake and it should be over there -------------->

Thanks for Reading!:)xxx

Haul - Superdrug & Boots

Okay, so I'm going to get right into it as the post is very *picture heavy*

Only 5 things but still a haul :)

First thing i got was the NYC Smooth Skin pressed face powder.

Shade "Naturally Beige"

I haven't been getting on very well with my current face powder, the MUA one. I'm not too sure if the formula has been changed or something it just doesn't look good with foundation underneath, and totally changes the colour of my foundation and makes my face makeup look really cakey. Even though I've repurchased the MUA one 3 times, I thought I'd give this a go.

In a recent blog post I reviewed the Collection Cream Puff Lip Cream in Fairy Cake. I thought I'd get another shade from the range, this one in Cotton Candy, as i really liked Fairy Cake.

NYC City Curls Curling Mascara
Shade Carbon (Black)

I really like the wand on this mascara! I've heard good & bad things about the NYC mascaras, but for the few pound i paid for this I thought I'd give it a shot anyway.

 Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer

I've heard some amazing things about this concealer! I read on blogger somewhere that it was even compared to mac. I really can't wait to review this concealer , and see if it really is a High Street Gem! In shade "Fair 1"

Maybelline Color Tattoo 24HR Cream Gel Shadow
Shade Eternal Gold

Saved the best till last!;)
I think I may be a bit slow on the whole "Color Tattoo" thing. But I really wanted to try one of these out, and for the price you get a more then generous amount and there so pigmented when swatched they will last ages!

Thanks for Reading! :)xxx
