Review: MUA Love Hearts Range Lip Balm's

Since I haven't posted much , and for me its now the Easter school holidays. I'm going to try and post every single day , maybe one or more posts so hit the "Follow" Button for more reviews , tutorials, hauls and more! :)

Today I'm going to be reviewing the lip balms , from the MUA love hearts range.MUA and Love heart sweets collaborated and created the "Love Hearts Range" Obviously based around the love hearts sweets. The range consists of 6 Nail Polishes and 5 lip balms.  Each item in the range is £2 each  and available from Supedrug , but you can buy them online on MUA's website. Today I will be reviewing 4 of the lip balms, so lets get on with the review......

The packaging on these is adorable, I just love it!
Great lips - nude , natural , beige colour
Sugar lips- a bright pink
Kiss me- a REALLY bright bold red
Sweet Kiss - a light baby pink
Left to Right : Kiss Me , Sweet Kiss , Sugar Lips, Great Lips

These amazing lip balms could only be described as Little Gems! There is absolutely nothing bad to say about these lip balms. They are extremely moisturising , they make the perfect base for dry lipstick or even just a base in general. You could even wear them on there own! The colours show up great on the lips, i usually apply these lip balms with a lip brush and the show up really well. Especially "Kiss Me". For £2 your getting a fantastic quality product , adorable packaging and a more then fair amount of product! This product would probably last you ages.

Overall , these lip balms are beyond expectations! I would definitely buy any of these again if i ran out , my personal favourite is probably "Sweet Kiss". I just love the colour of it and how it shows up on my lips. I would definitely recommend these lip balms to anyone who wants a moisturising lip balm with great pigmentation and adorable packaging. The only bad thing is the range is limited edition , but is out through the summer months , i think.

Review: Barry M Lip Paints

Since I've been reviewing loads of MUA stuff lately I decided today i would break it up and talk about the equally amazing Barry M Lip Paints!
The lip paints come in sleek matte black packaging with the Barry M logo on the lid.
I have two of these gorgeous lip paints 146 and 155.
Here's a close up of the shades , on the left is 146 , and the right is 155.
The darker shade is 146 and the lighter is 155.

Barry M Lip Paint 146 ( Dolly Pink ) - This is a very bright , bold pink. It appears almost a neon colour on my pale face but is great for party's and special occasions. Or if you have a darker skin tone then me , i have really pale skin.

Barry M Lip Paint 155 ( Pretty Pink)- This is a much lighter shade then 146 , it is a much more wearable colour . Its a great everyday colour.

I love these Lip Paints , they are extremely pigmented and very creamy on the lips. They are very moisturising and have a great hint of shine to them. The pigmentation in these lip paints is amazing ! The staying power is equally amazing as the pigmentation , you get about 4.5-5 hours wear of these Lip Paints. The packaging is great and really sturdy , there also really easy to store.

Overall the Lip Paints are great for the price , £4.49 they are available at Superdrug and Boots and you can buy them online too. There is a great range of over 30 shades to choose from so you'll definitely be able to pick a favourite or favourites. I  would recommend these Lip Paints to anyone who wants a long lasting , creamy lipstick for under £5's.

Review: MUA Pro Eyeshadow Primer

How good can a £2.50 eyeshadow primer actually be?
Unbelievably Amazing!

MUA Pro Eyeshadow Primer is only £2.50 and is available in selected Superdrugs in the UK. Its also available on the MUA website , which does ship internationally.
The applicator is perfect for applying the correct amount of product to the eye.
The formula is a nude colour, very close to my actual skin tone.
The product blends out perfectly onto the skin and gives it a satin finish.

I've tired the Urban Decay Potion Primer before , and didn't get on with it at all! I found it did nothing for my eyeshadow , and left a horrible feel on my eye lid. It made my eyelid feel really oily were as the MUA Eye Primer is completely different!

I absolutely love this eye primer! Its really easy to blend into the eye lid and the applicator allows you to apply the correct amount of product onto the eyelid. Once blended into the lid i also find it makes a great base! It hides all those imperfections that sometimes occur on the lid. As for does it actually work? Yes, it easily prevents the eyeshadow from creasing and fading away. It makes sure the eyeshadow stays like glue, it also prevents the eyeshadow from fading and gives the eyeshadow colour a "pop".

I've already bought a back up for when my current tube runs out, and i would definitely recommend this to anybody who doesn't get along with the UDPP or who is looking for a cheaper alternative. Overall i would definitely buy this over the UDPP. MUA seems to keep going from strength to strength lately.

Review: MUA Pro Face Primer

Since i haven't posted in two days I'm going to aim to do two posts tonight this one , and another review on the mua eye primer :)

The MUA Pro face primer is available in selected Superdrugs in the UK and on the MUA website , which now has international shipping. Its only £4 and is great for the price!
The little cap at the end of the tube makes it easy to get the amount of product you need , without getting to much.
The formula is white , so this product is perfect for any skin tones.

I love this product! For the price you get a more then fair amount of product, 27 ml per tube. I'm actually on my second tube , i got my first tube a month or two after the pro range came out. The only reason i went through it that quickly was probably because i pulled the little cap out of the tube so i was using too much product when i was applying it. Therefore i wouldn't advise you to take it out.

MUA Says:
A velvety smooth face primer that can be worn alone or under foundation. The lightweight formula evens out complexion to give a flawless finish for long-lasting results.

I find that it definitely does what it says on the tube! It makes applying foundation much easier, and you can't even feel that you have the primer on your face. It also reduces redness and under eye circles. You only need a tiny amount of product for your whole face, as the formula is very easy to blend. It definitely gives your skin that "velvety smooth" touch.

I usually wear this under powder and blush , it definitely helps both the powder and blush stay on. On the occasion that i have worn this under foundation i also found that it made the foundation stay on longer too. Overall I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants longer lasting face products , or simply a more flawless face.

Review: MUA Pencil Eyeliner

Today I'm going to be reviewing the MUA Pencil Eyeliners. You can buy MUA eyeliner's in Superdrug in the UK for only £1! You can also buy them online from MUA's website.
I have 8 of these eyeliners.
Top to Bottom : Rich Brown , Jade Jewel, Pink Sparkle, Lilac Sparkle, Turquoise , Blue Babe , Silver Sparkle , Snow White
In the same order.

The pigmentation on these eyeliners is amazing for only a £1 each! This is only a few swipes and the shades appear extremely vibrant and bold. The lid of the eyeliners also have a sharpener attached to it so its perfect for travelling or taking out with you to reapply. The staying power is great for the price too, they last all day and don't smudge, however if your wearing them singly on your lid i would recommend using MUA's eye primer and a base shadow. The formula is very creamy and the eyeliners come in a great range of colours. They don't have a nasty scent and you get a great amount of product for the price.

I would easily recommend this product to anyone who wants to try a different shade they normally wouldn't go for , or anyone who just wants a good quality eyeliner.

Review: MUA Lipsticks!

Just before i start I'd like to say a big thanks to everyone who has read my blog the past few days as my views have shot up by 50% Thanks a Billion! Its great to know people are reading what i write!=)

Well today I'm reviewing the MUA Lipsticks. I have 6 of these little gems all for a grand total of £6. Only £1 per lipstick! In case your new to my blog MUA lipsticks are purchased from Superdrug, the whole MUA range is only £1 each , charging slightly more for "pro range products".

Left to Right Shades : 4,5,6,7,11,15
Here's a better view of what the shades appear like, they're in the same order as photographed before.

  • Shade 4 : Barbie Pink , however toned down a bit with a glossy finish.
  • Shade 5 : Very glittery , very shimmery pale pink.
  • Shade 6 : A darker pink with a slight purple/blue undertone in it.
  • Shade 7: Sort of a coral/pink with a slight undertone of red
  • Shade 11: A dark reddish colour however not quite red, a everyday red really.
  • Shade 15: A nude with a hint of pale pink.
Swatches left to right : 4,5,6,7,11,15
Both swatch pictures show the amazing quality of the lipsticks.

I absolutely love these lipsticks! Can you believe the swatches above are only 1 swipe?! For a £1 lipstick?! You honestly can't go wrong! The lipsticks are extremely pigmented and very moisturising. The packaging doesn't look at all cheap either , they look alot like the nyx lipsticks. They last for a more then fair amount of time too , generally about 3-4 hours. Even after the shimmer and shine starts to fade you are still left with a hint of the colour on your lips. These are great dupes for some higher branded lipsticks. They come in a great colour range to, there are 16 lipsticks in the full range and i think i will definitely get more. All in all they are great lipsticks and i would definitely recommend them to anybody.
Also if you live outside of the UK MUA have their own website which do deliver internationally, sorry i forgot to mention this in yesterdays post about the blush.

Thanks for reading , have a nice day =) xxx

Review: MUA Blusher

Most people by now would probably have come across or heard of MUA. I've mentioned it in posts before but basically , MUA is famously known as the "£1 makeup range" MUA is found in Superdrugs in the UK and came out May 2010, last year MUA expanded their range out with more products called the "Professional Range" prices ranging from £1.50-£4.

Anyway enough rambling on , the blushers i am going to be reviewing today are from the £1 range. There is 6 blushers to choose from and i have 4 of them.
Top two left to right : Shade 1 , 2
Bottom two left to right: Shade 3 , 6

Shade 1 is a bright barbie pink. Shade 2 is also a pink however its less brighter then shade 1 and ever so slightly darker. Shade 3 is a beige/nude. Shade 6 is a very dark almost brown colour.

You cant really see the shade numbers on this picture....
Here's a better picture of what the true shades are like.
Swatches! Left to right : 6 , 3, 2,1

These blushes are amazing for only a £1 each! You get a great amount of product in the pan, and there really pigmented too, this is only 2 swipes. They last all day and stay perfect, i would definitely recommend everyone to have one of these in their makeup bag to use. They don't have that nasty smell that most budget brand blushers have .

My only complaints is that i think they could have them in a more nuder colours , like a very light peachy/nude for those who are paler eg. me.

Overall these are great blushes and i would definitely recommend them to anybody.

Thanks for reading =)
